ITV channels will now be available on newer LG Smart TVs without an aerial connection!
That’s live TV entirely streaming based and with an EPG (guide to you and me) through the ‘LG channels’ feature. Samsung already has this through their ‘TV Plus’ option.

The primary benefit of recorders is still clear to see. Skip adverts, pause recordings and retain series not available elsewhere for viewing at your leisure. You’ll have noticed that as streaming became more common, so the number and length of ads increased!
